Research topic

I am investigating the effect of nutrition on the development of intestinal cancer. The model I use induces uncontrolled stem cell proliferation due to an activation of the RAS/RAF/MAPK pathway. Additionally, I am researching the effect of cancer on the flys gut microbiota and vice versa.

The methods I use most frequently are: fluorescence microscopy, survival assays, luciferase assays, sequencing, statistics
