Research topic

The unfolded protein response (UPR) is an intracellular signaling pathway ,associated with various neurodegenerative disorders, cancer and diabetes . My project is using Drosophila as a model , to study the role of three stress sensors in different UPR branches.

Interests: trachea,intestine,fat body/UPR signaling pathway ,ER-stress

Immunohistochemistry/Real-time PCR/ RNA isolation/Body fat quantification/Hypoxia treatment assay/Smoke treatment assay
