Research topic

My research interest lies in the mechanisms of the development of asthma and COPD (Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease) models in Drosophila. I use the CRISPR/Cas9 system to induce asthma or COPD-like phenotypes in the airway epithelia of the fly.
