Research topic

My research interest lies in the mechanism of the development of asthma and COPD (Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease). That utilizing of the newly generated tools, CRISPR/Cas9, to experimentally induce asthma or COPD-like phenotypes in the airway epithelia of the fly will make our research flies more similar to the human in the exxpression of disease genes, precluding the chances of original genes influencing the result.
